“I swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.”
This phrase was said many times during the lawyer’s presentation today for career day.  During the skit we did during the class we learned what it might be like to really be on trial.  How it worked was we had different roles and he had a case and a script and at the end I (because I was the judge) decided whether the defendant or the victim  was guilty or not.  I also like this because you never know what is going to happen next because you could get a call at any time and have to drop everything and help.  I really liked this presentation because he put the job  into perspective and how hard it can be sometimes to be a lawyer.  There is a very long hard process to get the job and there is a hard test that comes with it too.  Mr. William Listman was the speaker today for my class. I think he did an amazing job of explaining and telling detailed stories of real life and how not everything works out.  I am not sure exactly what field I want to go into, but after hearing that speech I will for sure consider trying to be a lawyer and I would recommend it to you too.
